Why We Build in Code from Day One

Why We Build in Code from Day One

A static mock answers the wrong question — it shows how a screen looks, never how it behaves at 3am on a slow connection.

So the first artefact we hand over is a running page, not a picture of one.

The browser is the canvas

Type scales, hover states, and motion only read true at real pixel density, on real hardware, with real copy in them.

If it cannot be built by Friday, it is not a design decision yet.

What this buys

  1. No handoff gap.
  2. Performance is a design constraint, not a cleanup task.
  3. The system ships with the first screen.

The trade is a slower first week and a far shorter last one.

Have something worth building? Tell us where it's going and we'll tell you how we'd get it there.

We reply within one working day. No decks, no discovery theatre.
